In 1971, Czechia's fertility indicators increased by 4.2% compared to 1970, reaching 2.00.

Czechia ranks 14th out of 18 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.0% (from 2.02 in 1966).
