Government deficit/surplus, debt and associated data

In 2011, Czechia's government deficit/surplus, debt and associated data increased by 7.4% compared to 2010, reaching 39.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 81.7%.

Czechia ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 42.8% (from 27.6% in 2006).
