Government deficit/surplus, debt and associated data

In 2010, Czechia's government deficit/surplus, debt and associated data increased by 9.9% compared to 2009, reaching 36.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 80.4%.

Czechia ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 32.5% (from 27.7% in 2005).
