Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1981, Czechia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.6% compared to 1980, reaching 70.8.

Czechia ranks 12th out of 17 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.1% (from 70.7 in 1976).
