Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1971, Czechia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.4% compared to 1970, reaching 73.4.

Czechia ranks 7th out of 13 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.7% (from 73.9 in 1966).
