Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1985, Czechia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.3% compared to 1984, reaching 74.8.

Czechia ranks 16th out of 20 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.1% (from 74.0 in 1980).
