Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1989, Czechia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.1% compared to 1988, reaching 75.5.

Czechia ranks 17th out of 21 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.2% (from 74.6 in 1984).
