Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 1970, Czechia's population change increased by 8.7% compared to 1969, reaching 2.5.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.0.

Czechia ranks 22nd out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 41.9% (from 4.3 in 1965).
