In 2003, Czechia's passenger cars, by type of motor energy and size of engine increased by 1.6% compared to 2002, reaching 3,706,012.

Czechia ranks 11th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.1% (from 3,492,961 in 1998).
