Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1970, Czechia's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.2% compared to 1969, reaching 4,804,667.

Czechia ranks 8th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.5% (from 4,732,662 in 1965).
