Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2014, Czechia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 8.6% compared to 2013, reaching 7.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 6.6%.

Czechia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 62.3% (from 4.3% in 2009).
