Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2017, Czechia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 24.8% compared to 2016, reaching 7.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 18.5%.

Czechia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 59.5% (from 19.5% in 2012).
