Employment rates by citizenship

In 2021, Denmark's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.4% compared to 2020, reaching 78.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 73.3%.

Denmark ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.8% (from 75.5% in 2016).
