In 2021, Denmark's at-risk-of-poverty rate of older people by detailed age group increased by 6.1% compared to 2020, reaching 10.4.

Denmark accounts for 62.7% of the EU-27 total of 16.6.

Denmark ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 31.6% (from 7.90 in 2016).
