In 2022, Denmark's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 3.8% compared to 2021, reaching 31,589.

Denmark ranks 10th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 42.5% (from 54,922 in 2017).
