At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 16.0% compared to 2009, reaching 17.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.1%.

Estonia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 18.8% (from 21.3% in 2005).
