At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2010, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.0% compared to 2009, reaching 26.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.1%.

Latvia ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 19.5% (from 22.0% in 2005).
