At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 8.8% compared to 2013, reaching 19.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.4%.

Estonia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.4% (from 20.6% in 2009).
