At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.4% compared to 2013, reaching 25.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.4%.

Italy ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.1% (from 24.1% in 2009).
