At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2020, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 5.9% compared to 2019, reaching 22.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.5%.

Estonia ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.3% (from 23.3% in 2015).
