At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2020, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 5.6% compared to 2019, reaching 23.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.5%.

Latvia ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.4% (from 24.8% in 2015).
