In 2014, Estonia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 4.4% compared to 2013, reaching 15,738.

Estonia ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 36.6% (from 24,835 in 2009).
