Fertility indicators

In 1992, Estonia's fertility indicators decreased by 5.0% compared to 1991, reaching 1.71.

Estonia ranks 12th out of 23 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 24.7% (from 2.27 in 1987).
