Population on 1 January by age group and sex

In 1970, Estonia's population on 1 january by age group and sex increased by 1.1% compared to 1969, reaching 25,819.

Estonia ranks 21st out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.9% (from 22,676 in 1965).
