Population on 1 January by age group and sex

In 1985, Estonia's population on 1 january by age group and sex increased by 2.0% compared to 1984, reaching 36,235.

Estonia ranks 22nd out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.7% (from 31,327 in 1980).
