Population on 1 January by age group and sex

In 1986, Estonia's population on 1 january by age group and sex increased by 0.9% compared to 1985, reaching 36,579.

Estonia ranks 21st out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.8% (from 32,433 in 1981).
