Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1970, Estonia's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 1.2% compared to 1969, reaching 618,455.

Estonia ranks 22nd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.0% (from 578,142 in 1965).
