At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2022, Finland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.4% compared to 2021, reaching 9.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.4%.

Finland ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.9% (from 10.2% in 2017).
