In 2020, Finland's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 9.9% compared to 2019, reaching 134,831.

Finland ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.4% (from 132,978 in 2015).
