Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2019, Finland's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 3.8% compared to 2018, reaching 122,731.

Finland ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.7% (from 137,465 in 2014).
