In 2021, Finland's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 29.2% compared to 2020, reaching 2,059.

Finland ranks 10th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 104.3% (from 1,008 in 2016).
