In 2022, Finland's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 13.2% compared to 2021, reaching 2,330.

Finland ranks 11th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 149.2% (from 935 in 2017).
