Employment rates by citizenship

In 2023, Finland's employment rates by citizenship decreased by 1.1% compared to 2022, reaching 73.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 75.1%.

Finland ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.5% (from 73.5% in 2018).
