Fertility indicators

In 1987, Finland's fertility indicators decreased by 0.6% compared to 1986, reaching 1.59.

Finland ranks 14th out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.0% (from 1.71 in 1982).
