In 2016, Finland's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 17.2% compared to 2015, reaching 96.

Finland ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 28.4% (from 134 in 2011).
