At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2020, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.4% compared to 2019, reaching 14.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

France ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.4% (from 13.6% in 2015).
