At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.6% compared to 2013, reaching 17.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.4%.

France ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.4% (from 16.8% in 2009).
