At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, Germany's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.7% compared to 2013, reaching 15.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.4%.

Germany ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.7% (from 15.0% in 2009).
