At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2016, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.1% compared to 2015, reaching 19.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.4%.

France ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.6% (from 18.8% in 2011).
