At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2002, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 9.1% compared to 2001, reaching 10.0%.

France ranks 8th out of 10 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 41.2% (from 17.0% in 1997).
