At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2009, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 2.5% compared to 2008, reaching 19.9%.

Italy ranks 8th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.5% (from 20.2% in 2004).
