At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2013, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 2.1% compared to 2012, reaching 14.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.3%.

France ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.5% (from 13.3% in 2008).
