At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2014, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.4% compared to 2013, reaching 14.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.7%.

France ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.2% (from 13.8% in 2009).
