Employment rates by citizenship

In 2007, France's employment rates by citizenship increased by 0.3% compared to 2006, reaching 69.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 71.6%.

France ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.6% (from 69.6% in 2002).
