Employment rates by citizenship

In 2007, Belgium's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.2% compared to 2006, reaching 68.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 71.6%.

Belgium ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.9% (from 68.1% in 2002).
