Population structure indicators at national level

In 2007, France's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2006, reaching 39.1.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.3.

France ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.2% (from 37.9 in 2002).
