Population structure indicators at national level

In 2007, Belgium's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2006, reaching 40.5.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 40.3.

Belgium ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.1% (from 39.3 in 2002).
