Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2022, France's main indicators increased by 10.3% compared to 2021, reaching 27.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 41.2%.

France ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 37.3% (from 19.9% in 2017).
