Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2011, France's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 2.4% compared to 2010, reaching 24.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 22.5%.

France ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.6% (from 23.5% in 2006).
