At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2014, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 8.7% compared to 2013, reaching 13.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.4%.

Netherlands ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 11.0% (from 15.4% in 2009).
